Privacy notice
Who is responsible
Iftikhar Habib, trading as Envoryn AI, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal information described here. Business address: 301 Lock Studios, 7 Corsican Square, London E3 3YD, United Kingdom. Contact: info@envoryn.com.
What information we receive
- Email: if you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include.
- WhatsApp: if you message our demo or business WhatsApp number, we receive your WhatsApp name and number and the messages you send. Our assistant may ask for your name, business, the kind of help you need and a good time to talk.
- Website form: when the online enquiry form is switched on, it asks for your name, email address and a short outline, and optionally your business name and country. It uses a bot protection check.
- Clients: if we work together, we keep contact details, the agreed scope, invoices and payment records.
Please do not send passwords, payment card details, confidential client material or sensitive personal information (such as health details) in any message.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry, show you a demo and prepare a quote: steps you ask for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- To deliver and support a project we agree with you: performance of our contract.
- To keep business and accounting records: legal obligation.
- To keep our systems secure and prevent abuse: legitimate interests.
We do not add enquiry details to a marketing list, we do not send marketing messages on WhatsApp unless you have opted in, and we never sell personal information. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
AI assistant on our WhatsApp number
Our WhatsApp demo is answered by an AI assistant so you can see how our product works. It only uses information we have approved, it tells you when a person will follow up, and a member of our team can take over the conversation at any time. If you would rather speak to a person, just say so.
Service providers we use
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and our enquiry service. Website requests may be processed for security (for example IP address and browser details). Enquiries sent through the form are stored in a Cloudflare database located in the European Union and copied to our business computer so we can manage them.
- Meta (WhatsApp) and Gallabox: deliver and manage WhatsApp conversations on our business number.
- Google: provides our business email.
- Stripe and PayPal: process card and PayPal payments for client invoices.
Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy notice. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the safeguards the provider offers for international transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. When the online form is switched on, Cloudflare's bot protection check may use strictly necessary technical signals to keep the form safe.
Payments
If you become a client, you pay by invoice using Wise or bank transfer, PayPal, or card through a secure Stripe payment page, as shown on the invoice. Card details are entered on Stripe's own page; we never receive or store full card numbers or security codes. Stripe and PayPal tell us the amount, currency, invoice number and the payer's name and email so we can match the payment to your invoice.
How long we keep information
We delete enquiries that do not become client work 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless we need the record to handle an unresolved matter or legal claim. Client, contract and accounting records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet legal obligations. For a UK self employed business, tax records must be kept for at least five years after the relevant 31 January Self Assessment deadline; see the official HMRC guidance. Our automatic backups are kept for 30 days.
Client systems and customer information
When we build an assistant for a client, the accounts are in the client's name and the client decides how its customers' information is used. Before any work involving that information, we agree in writing the purpose, access, retention and our processor terms.
Your rights and contact
You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@envoryn.com. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at on the ICO website.
Changes
We will update this notice when our services or the way we handle information change, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
